1. Does acupuncture hurt?

I use very thin, flexible needles.
They just barely penetrate the skin, so it doesn't hurt. They are not like a doctor's hypodermic needles. For deep pain or tougher bodies (for example, sportsmen), I use slightly stronger needles with deeper penetration, but the treatment is measured and progressive, according to the needs of the patient. For sensitive bodies or sensitive skin I use gentle techniques. |

2. Is there any risk of catching
the HIV (AIDS) virus through acupuncture therapy?

I use sterile, disposable needles in my clinic, so there
is no risk of blood-borne disease transmission.

3. What kind of ailments can
be treated with acupuncture?
|
Ailments which can be effectively treated with pulse
diagnosis acupuncture include (but are not limited to) neck, back and
shoulder pain, stomachache, joint pain (elbows, wrists, ankles, knees),
circulation problems, headaches, eye problems loss of appetite, constipation,
asthma, high blood pressure and chronic exhaustion.

4. How many times will I need
to visit the clinic to receive treatment?

It depends on the case. Some ailment, such as tennis
elbow, may be fixed after one or two treatment.
More serious problems such as asthma or high blood pressure, require regular treatment over a longer period. |

5. How much does it cost?
|
Each treatment costs 8,000 yen〜, and lasts around 60
minutes - 90 minutes. In addition, there is a joining fee of 1,000
yen,
which is paid on the first visit.
